Excellent Product!

Can’t give an honest review yet…..but, quick question tho….. out of curiosity,black seed oil is of a darker shade, why are these so clear in color?

I’ve been taking these since New Year and I felt them within the first couple days. I feel so much lighter. I’ve seen multiple parasites flushed out in the toilet and my brain fog is gone and my cortisol belly is completely flat. I have a better quality of sleep and life overall. I have all 3 of my children taking these and I will be purchasing these from now on! Thank you! 🙏🏽

The question is, how do I verify what’s claimed? The answer for me is that there’s no scientific way to do it at home unless I have the right tools and knowledge. I either have to trust the manufacturer and their claims, or rely on others with more critical views. I read some other reviews before writing about my genuine thoughts and experience with this item, and I decided to believe the one that was more critical. It made sense to me considering the weight and taste of these gels.There is no spiciness in the taste, and overall it tastes like cooking oil. I’m no scientist, but after taking these for about a week, I noticed no effectiveness in any way. It also didn’t give me any side effects or reactions, but they claim a lot with this one gel capsule, such as “respiratory support, inflammation relief, joint comfort, antioxidant protection, gut balance, and body detox.” It’s natural to be suspicious, in a common sense way, when something sounds too good to be true.

You receive a lot of capsules in this bag; 300 capsules for 150 servings. The gel capsule is thick, much thicker than a vitamin E capsule I take. The weight for 2 capsules is roughly 1 gram (1,000 mg). That weight includes the capsule and the ingredients.Here's my dilemma. A "normal" dose of oregano would be 300 to 600 mg. 6,000 mg is far too high and its "healthy benefits" are questionable. There is a detectable scent of oregano, but it is very slight. The ginger and tumeric scents also come through.The Supplement Facts state this is actually 300 mg of oregano oil extract, which would be within limits one should take. They are extrapolating it to show how much raw oregano, 6000mg, made the 300 mg oil. Strange, but ok I guess. Adding the 300 mg with all the other ingredients still equates to more than 1000 mg, which doesn't add up.Another issue I have is they claim the softgels are gluten free, yet there is a disclaimer that this product is made in a facility that also processes wheat. That is always a red flag for those with Celiac disease, because the product could be contaminated.Yes, I gave 3 stars rather than 1. At $10 per month, this is a reasonable cost. If all the ingredients listed are in the softgels, this packs a lot of punch. If you aren't worried about it being truly gluten free, then go for it.

Been using the Puretrex Wild Oil of Oregano with Black Seed Oil for a few weeks now and I’m genuinely impressed. The softgels are easy to take, no horrible oregano “burn” like some other brands, and I don’t get any aftertaste. These gel capsules are slightly bigger than an ibuprofen mini gel capsule (see picture for comparison). Very easy to swallow, there is no after taste and they do not upset my stomach. I tend to get sick this time of year and so far have not been sick! This is a high quality product that is worth the money, I would recommend!

I purchased these oil-of-oregano soft gels because I have candida (fungal overgrowth) and SIBO symptoms, and oil of oregano is one of the top herbs for treating these issues when I have flareups.Before taking these, I made sure I took some of Silver Fern's motility products and their Reflux product, which has Slippery Elm and helps your mucosal lining. You don't want to start taking antimicrobials/antifungals until things are moving through you easily. I also made it a habit to drink a tall glass of lemon water every morning (with a straw) to stay hydrated; lemon is also great for addressing candida.Next, I made sure I had a binder. After all, oil of oregano is an antimicrobial, antifungal, and antiparasitic and can cause flu-like die-off symptoms and inflammation in your joints without a binder to remove the toxins. Silver Fern sells immunoglobins (called Cleanse) as a binder, or you could choose between charcoal, bentonite clay, chlorella, or zeolite. You usually want to take the binder an hour away from taking your antimicrobial.I also took a liver support product, which usually contains milk thistle and dandelion.Ideally, you want to follow a diet that avoids sugar, dairy, carbs, and gluten if you're trying to fight candida. Holy moly I’m super super impressed by the formula in this supplement. It’s basically a bunch of powerhouse natural herbs and extracts that have a slew of potential health benefits. The only added ingredient I don’t love is the carrageenan but it comes from seaweed extract so I’m wondering if that’s a safe version? Good says its GRAS (generally recognized as safe) aka I would prefer an absolute there but that’s the single ingredient I don’t love. The serving size is only two tiny softgels that go down extremely easily. I do struggle with indigestion in general and tend to burp these up a little which is a bit gross but worth pointing out for those who struggle with the same issue (doesn’t make me sick to my stomach, just a little gross). The product is made in the UK and is lab tested which I really appreciate. Nicely done overall.

Some of the ingredients in this supplement are things that I like to take for overall immune health, particularly during flu season. Wild Oregano and Olive Leaf Oil are in that category. These capsules are quite small and particularly easy to take. The fact that this is made in the UK is a plus for me as well since they have more stringent regulations around supplements that the United States does. And it seems a good value for my money since it provides me with a 150 day supply.

After just a couple days I can say that it has a laxative effect which is not unwelcome on a high protein diet:) Easy to take, large bag with a 5 month supply. Hopeful this will help me avoid the Fall/Winter flu season and other seasonal disorders. Also, happy to try something that reduces inflammation - seems I was too rough on my joints in my youth and I am not enjoying paying for it now. Can't say that this is the reason, but last night I had a very restful long nights sleep, not something I generally enjoy (fingers crossed), and so I am committed to taking this for the next 5 months to see if I notice any lasting or other improvements.

Well packaged and exactly as described. The pills are about the size of a fish oil pill, and look similar, but have no odor I could detect. So it's a bit large but if you're used to taking fish oil pills, these have the same ease of use and swallow. The ingredients are interesting to me and seem high quality. I've just started taking it but I don't have stomach upset The have no taste I could detect, and no after-taste either. If you are comfortable with the ingredients, they seem high quality.

I am loving my oregano oil supplement. I have taken this ingredient in the past, but I really appreciate the addition of Black seed oil and turmeric in the Puretrex brand. I also like the size of the soft gel.

Just started taking it 3days ago and I already feel it working, my stomach is notably less bloated I feel more rested in the morning and more energy throughout the day.. im very excited to see the results in the future 🙌
